My interview guest today is Dania König, singer and songwriter from the Rhineland. Dania first drew attention to herself with the band “Königwerq”, among others as a support act for Lionel Richie, PUR and Nena and as a participant in the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest.
I am convinced that role models can help us achieve our own wishes and goals. That’s why I launched the series “conscious creatives telling their stories”. Here I would like to introduce you again and again to people who are consciously and
Lilian Marti has found her passion: the art dotpainting. In autumn of last year she made a business out of it and now sells her mandala work under the label marti art. However, it is not that this was her first passion discovered – no, she was a successful singer on European musical stages in her first professional life.
Today I present you my interview with Ania Grzeszek. I got to know her digitally as part of the preparations for the “Back to the wool” retreat in the fall of 2018 and was delighted that someone really has the same claim as me. It was important to me, if there should be goodie bags for the retreat participants, these were produced sustainably and naturally. All this I found on Ania’s label KALIKO. And in addition a wonderful person, which I really would like to meet in real life.
Franzi Schädel from Schleswig-Holstein is a self-proclaimed eco-fluencer, an example for people who want to live more sustainably, but also a photographer in the name of love. I am fascinated by her diversity and gentleness. And the way she puts things in a nutshell.
Rosi Mangger from “kraedu” is available to me today as an interview partner. I got to know her when I was traveling to St. Leonhard in the beautiful Val Passiria last fall for on-site research. And right from the beginning I was very enthusiastic about her and her work. She has so much passion for her work, I could feel it directly. Rosi shows us in the “Back to the wool” retreat the manufacturing process of some natural cosmetics and shares her rich knowledge with us.
In June this year, at the retreat of the Laine magazine, I had the honor to meet Valentina Consalvi. She has grown very dear to me directly and since then I do not want to miss her anymore. She runs her company “Snailyarn” in Ariccia near Rome and has made a name for herself as a hand dyer in the knitting scene in recent years.
The family business “Spinnradl ” in St. Leonhard in the Passeier Valley has been around for 70 years now. Several years ago, Franziska Haller took over the business from her parents and is now continuing in the 3rd generation. Today she is available for me as an interview partner and gives us the opportunity to get to know her a little better.
Janne Vollert is a certified plant-based cook and nutritionist and will be answering my questions today. She will take care of our well-being during “Back to the wool”, the sustainable knitting retreat, and treat us to culinary delights. With her training at the Plant Based Institute, the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and the Ecodemy, she is breaking new ground in the profession of the cook and is also giving workshops on these topics in Hamburg.
Ann Cathrin Schönrock from Berlin is my fluffy interview guest today. In the last months she has set up the company “modus intarsia” and is now thrilling the world of knitting with her sustainably produced, high-quality dog wool “Chiengora”.
