the art of living a conscious & creative life

Back to the wool

05.10.2019 – 12.10.2019 @ Ganztägig –

Wool is a unique, renewable and biodegradable raw material. But which way has the wool actually behind before we can work with it? How can it be sustainably obtained, dyed and processed? All these questions are explored in this retreat for knitters.

Surrounded by meadows and mountains, rustic walls, varied food and especially by like-minded people, we spend a relaxing week in Passeiertal in South Tyrol. In addition to a lot of knitting time by the fireplace we get to know the sustainable process from the raw wool of South Tyrolean sheep to the finished garment, learn to dye wool with plants and make our own natural cosmetics.

conscious creatives revolution

Revolution

The world needs a revolution.
A revolution of every single one of us.
But that works better together than alone.

That is why, together with Ingo Ballmann, I have been offering the regional group “conscious creatives revolution” in the Rhine-Main area since January. We provide the framework, organization and moderation.
Let’s explore the big questions we have about life and find answers and solutions! Everyone is called to share their experiences and strengthen others, as well as themselves.
That’s how we get moving! Each in his or her own pace and possibilities and with the help of the group.

BioLandgut Tiefleiten Saunabereich

Bye bye toxins!

For the past 20 years, the BioLandgut Tiefleiten in the Bavarian Forest has been practicing “organic” and sustainability. With holistic guidance to a conscious self, it is a wonderful place to recharge your batteries. The hilly landscape is also ideal for hiking and exploring. Whether through beautiful forest sections or over fields, it is wonderfully beautiful there.

My greatest value

Sometimes the world gets on my nerves! We have created a society that strives for success, money, power and prestige, forgetting the values that make a truly fulfilling and contented life. Of course there are the exceptions. People who are

Rosi Mangger

Rosmarie Mangger

Rosi Mangger from “kraedu” is available to me today as an interview partner. I got to know her when I was traveling to St. Leonhard in the beautiful Val Passiria last fall for on-site research. And right from the beginning I was very enthusiastic about her and her work. She has so much passion for her work, I could feel it directly. Rosi shows us in the “Back to the wool” retreat the manufacturing process of some natural cosmetics and shares her rich knowledge with us.

Dünengras am Strand

Phew!

There are moments in life that you might expect, but when they suddenly pop up, they somehow overwhelm you. For many years I have been dreaming of location-independent life and work. To explore this incredibly beautiful earth and to finally find my place, my home.

What do you really need?

What do you need to live a good life? Certainly the answer looks a bit different for you than for me. However, I’m more and more convinced that there are very few things you really need. Three weeks in Norway

Valentina Consalvi

Valentina Consalvi

In June this year, at the retreat of the Laine magazine, I had the honor to meet Valentina Consalvi. She has grown very dear to me directly and since then I do not want to miss her anymore. She runs her company “Snailyarn” in Ariccia near Rome and has made a name for herself as a hand dyer in the knitting scene in recent years.
